The Artist: My name is Tiffany Toland and I am a self-taught artist born and raised in Washington state. I now reside near the capital of Montana with my fiancé, Luke.
I prefer to paint fantasy, sci-fi and gothic subjects, but I've also been known to paint a flower every now and again. I work primarily with digital tools including Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter, and I draw and paint most of my works on a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet. I also use watercolor, graphite, pastels, acrylic, egg tempera, colored pencils and watercolor pencils on occasion.
Commissions: I am currently accepting commissions for custom paintings, character portraits, book covers, CD covers, magazines, black and white interior illustrations and more. You can contact me here to discuss commissioning work. I charge by the hour, but give an initial estimate and stick to it even if it takes me longer, and will always put at least as many hours as you pay for into your painting.
Licensing: Most of my paintings are available for licensing on a wide variety of projects. If you are interested in licensing my art, please send an inquiry with a sample contract to licensing [at] tiffanytoland.com.
PSP/Image Tubes: "Tubes" of my art are currently available from UYA. I cannot grant permission for individuals to use my images to create tubes for free. You must obtain a license from UYA. Please do not send e-mails about this! I realize not all of my art is available there but I cannot and will not grant permission for individuals to use my art for this purpose.
Art Usage: Please contact me before using my art for anything. Promotion is always appreciated, but I need to be notified. Sometimes I block images from being directly linked and I won't do this if you have asked first and I know your website has permission to be directly linking.
Elsewhere: I have galleries in a few art communities. They are:
